Network Controls and Electric brings techology to rural areas
Network Controls and Electric – a leading supplier of cabling and electrical infrastructure — is installing cabling infrastructure for three new libraries in the Florence County Library System, bringing technology and web access to under-served rural areas.
“This initiative allows Network Controls to be a part of an innovative program to bring the Internet to rural areas and give students and adults access to online research tools and resources,” said Brad Cunningham, CEO of Network Controls and Electric.
Network Controls, which has offices in Columbia and Greenville, is adding network infrastructure to the Timmonsville, Olanta and Johnsonville branches. “We anticipate that the work will be completed by the first of the New Year,” Cunningham said.
