Network Controls and Electric certified as a Veteran-Owned business.


Network Controls and Electric – a leading supplier of cabling and electrical infrastructure –  has received certification from the Department of Veteran Affairs as a registered veteran-owned business.

CEO Brad Cunningham, previously served in the U.S Marine Corps and the SC National Guard.  “It’s an honor to receive this designation and we will work to maximize this credential as part of our government services efforts,”  Cunningham said. The company, which recently expanded its office in Columbia, SC, is actively pursuing contracts with the local, state and federal governments to provide network cabling and electrical infrastructure.

Network Controls and Electric’s management team is comprised of multiple veterans who have served in various branches of the military. Among those is Richie Gibbons, who is the company’s new manager of government services. Gibbons recently returned from Afghanistan and is directing new business development for local, state and federal government institutions.

During his military career, Cunningham earned an Army Medal of Commendation, Army Achievement Medal, NCO of the Year and a Certificate of Recognition for Cold War Service.
