Network Controls and Electric chosen to be a part of Verizon’s integration of Alltel.


A Greenville communication network and electrical infrastructure company is part of
Verizon Wireless’ sweeping integration of Alltel facilities across the Carolinas.

Verizon Wireless has selected Network Controls and Electric, Inc. as a structured cabling
provider for the upgrade and conversion of 39 Alltel stores throughout North and South
Carolina.

The project will focus on a changeover that will enhance retail outlets and convert them to the
state-of-the-art stores with customer-friendly conveniences. The activity by Verizon is part of its
sweeping integration of Alltel wireless facilities, stores and customers. The combined company
will be the largest wireless carrier in the United States.

Network Controls is part of the activities to speed the integration of networks and upgrade
high-speed wireless broadband services. Network Controls is currently installing AMP net
connect structured cabling in such cities as Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill, Raleigh,
Greenville, North Charleston, and Durham.
