(COLUMBIA, SC) May 10, 2010 – Network Controls and Electric – a leading supplier of structured cabling, electrical and technology infrastructure – was recently selected to provide structured cabling for a $450,000 project for the Joint Armed Forces Reserve Center in Columbia.
The project is further propelling the office’s rapid growth. In recent months, the Columbia office of Network Controls has expanded it’s workforce and warehouse capabilities to service the Midlands and Lowcountry.
Network Controls and Electric, which is a certified veteran-owned business, is collaborating with the general contractor, Choate Government Contractor, and the electrical contractor, Emory Electric, to install the new telecommunications cable at the South Carolina National Guard Headquarters.
This installation provides for the state of the art smart building that will house the SC National Guard. Network Controls utilized vendors AMP Netconnect and Tyco Corp, for the project.
