Network Controls and Electric upgrades internal communications at Laurens County Healthcare System
(GREENVILLE, SC) May 4, 2010 – Network Controls and Electric – a leading supplier of structured cabling, electrical and technology infrastructure — has completed a contract from the Laurens County Health Care System to upgrade and enhance internal communications.
Network Controls and Electric created a solution for a distributed paging system at the 90-bed facility in Clinton, SC. “This work enables the staff and patients at the hospital to communicate more effectively and thus has a positive impact on patient care,” said Brad Cunningham, CEO of Network Controls and Electric.
The general contractor for the hospital construction is TGA.
Laurens County Health Care System opened in 1990 and is licensed for 90 beds (76 acute and 14 skilled nursing). It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and retains more than 450 full-time and part-time employees and 60 volunteers, in addition to a quality medical staff of more than 48 physicians and 65 consulting physicians.
